Terms & conditions
Last updated: June 2026. These terms govern your use of this website and your purchase of goods from HT Computers ("we", "us"). Please read them carefully. This is a general template and should be reviewed by your legal adviser before launch.
1. Orders and acceptance
An order placed through this website is an offer to purchase. Your order is accepted only when we confirm dispatch or issue an order confirmation. We may decline or cancel an order — including where stock is unavailable or a pricing error has occurred — and will refund any payment for the cancelled items.
2. Pricing and GST
Prices are in Australian dollars. You can view prices inclusive or exclusive of GST using the on-site toggle; GST applies to taxable supplies at 10%. We try to keep pricing accurate but errors can occur; where a price is clearly incorrect we are not obliged to supply at that price.
3. Order confirmation vs tax invoice
The confirmation you receive at checkout is an order confirmation, not a tax invoice. A tax invoice is issued separately.
4. Payment
Payment is processed securely by our payment provider. We do not store your full card details. Approved trade-account customers may be offered account terms in writing.
5. Delivery, risk and title
We deliver Australia-wide. Items may ship from our warehouse or directly from our supply network. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery; title passes once we have received payment in full.
6. Cancellations and changes
If you need to change or cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible. Once an order has been dispatched it is subject to our returns policy.
7. Consumer guarantees
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms limits those rights. See our returns & refunds and warranty pages.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, and other than for liability that cannot be excluded, our liability for any claim is limited to re-supplying the goods or paying the cost of re-supply. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you submit to the courts of that jurisdiction.
